Product Overview

The MAVIG ST Series protective drapes are reusable radiation protective covers designed for interventional cardiology and radiology procedures involving femoral or radial artery access. The ST-FS5AMM is shaped for femoral access, with a purpose-cut opening at the puncture site and a contoured body profile that positions the drape close to the patient without obstructing the examiner or the imaging field. The ST-RZ5AMM is configured for radial access, without a cut-out, and shares the same ergonomic slope profile to prevent imaging interference when the table is angled.

Both drapes carry a shielding specification of 0.50 mmPb across the full protective surface. Each model is supplied with 50 sterile disposable covers, which can be placed directly over the reusable drape on top of the sterile patient cover. This arrangement allows continuous monitoring of drape position relative to the image field, supports fast removal in an emergency, and provides an economic and environmental advantage over fully disposable systems. The ST Series drapes are part of a broader scattered radiation protection strategy and are intended to be used in coordination with ceiling-suspended shields and lower body protection systems. Manufactured in Germany by MAVIG GmbH in accordance with DIN EN 61331-1 and IEC 61331-1. Available in Canada through Ultraray.
