Product overview
The Cyclotron Workbench is designed to provide a strong, stable platform for shielding equipment used in cyclotron facilities and high-activity radionuclide environments. Constructed from steel and finished with a powder-coated surface, the table supports heavy L-Block shields and lead caves while maintaining a level and durable work area. Adjustable front leg levelers allow precise installation even when floor surfaces are uneven.
The middle shelf incorporates a built-in shielded storage safe, allowing high-energy radioisotopes or target decay materials to be stored directly below the work surface. The safe includes 2 inches of lead shielding and is encased in a powder-coated steel jacket to support durability and containment.
An adjustable internal shelf allows flexible storage configurations. The lead-lined door is mounted with heavy-duty, non-sagging hinges and secured with a key lock to prevent unauthorized access. This integrated design combines work surface stability with shielded storage in a single footprint. The Cyclotron Workbench should be specified as part of a broader radiation protection strategy and coordinated with facility layout and load-bearing requirements.
