Control Booth Configurations

Product overview

Ultraray modular X-ray control booths are manufactured with integrated lead shielding and designed to provide a protected operating space for imaging personnel. Standard lead shielding is available in 1/16 inch or 1/8 inch thickness, and custom shielding levels can be specified based on project requirements.

Standard booth heights are 84 inches or greater. Because imaging environments vary, the modular panel design allows booths to be configured in multiple layouts. Panels attach together at 30, 45, or 90 degree angles, enabling precise adaptation to room constraints. Booths can be installed as freestanding structures or attached to existing walls. Tie rods and floor plates are included to ensure stability.

Viewing windows are constructed with shatter-resistant lead safety glass that meets CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Category II safety glazing standards. Lead acrylic is also available upon request. Lower opaque panels are lead-lined and finished with standard beige ABS, with steel or laminate finishes offered for design flexibility.

These control booths are designed for quick, clean installation and can be modified, expanded, or relocated as facility needs evolve. Consultation and installation services are also available to support turnkey project delivery.
